Butch of the Rowdy Rough Boys goes "rouge" and leaves the group, confused at the destiny he and his brothers are expected by Mondo Jojo to fulfill. In the process he meets Buttercup, aka, Chelsea in a country fair at the outskirts of Townsville where she discovers that there's more to this former RRB then meets the eye.
In the process, Chelsea develops feelings for the withdrawn Butch, which she kept secret from her sisters. Eventually Bubbles discovers this but is promised to keep quiet. She writes her thoughts in her diary, which becomes the key to the upcoming choas coming from their headstrong sister Blossom, the worrisome Prof. Plutonium, the Rowdy Rough Boys and eventually Mondo Jojo.
